Lemmon's Oil - The Perfect EFA Oil Blend

Omega-3 fatty acids are called essential fatty acids because the human body needs them to survive but cannot make them on its own; they must be consumed in the diet. We created Lemmon's Oil to satisfy the most basic of human needs. Their role in the prevention of heart disease alone has been extensively studied, with the following results concerning their ability be an anti-aging supplement:

  • Reduce the risk of heart attack.
  • Reduce arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat) rates.
  • Reduce artery re-blockage following surgery.
  • Reduce unhealthful blood clotting by cutting the tendency of blood platelets to clump together.
  • Inhibit the growth of arterial plaque; reduce thickening and hardening of the arteries.
  • Decrease triglyceride and very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) blood levels and reduce the rate they are produced in the liver.
  • Increase levels of HDL, "good" cholesterol.
  • Reduce the inflammation believed to promote atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries).
  • Lower blood pressure modestly. People who eat essential oils tend to have lower blood pressure.

Even the White House has boarded the omega-3 bandwagon. In May of 2003, the President's Office of Management and Budget (OMB) sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) urging them to promote consumption of omega-3s.

The letter also urged the USDA to revise its Food Guide Pyramid in favor of omega-3 fatty acids, noting the following finding:
"Both epidemiological and clinical studies find that an increase in consumption of omega-3 fatty acids results in reduced deaths due to CHD (cardiovascular heart disease)." In May 2004 an expert nutrition panel bolstered this position when they advised the USDA to change the agency's Food Guide Pyramid so that it would call for Americans to eat two 6-8 ounce servings of fish species high in omega-3 fatty acids every week. Notice they said EAT fish, not pop capsules of fish which are denatured with heat and spoiled (just smell them).

Like it or not, even those of you eating high protein snack bars and drinking meal replacement powders are getting bad fats, not EFA's. This is why you aren't making progress. The BAD fats... Look at who makes the products you use. It is the same people who make candy, and it probably will always be that way. That is correct, junk food corporations are producing the most popular "health" foods these days. Go figure. If it is in a wrapper or comes in a box, looks like candy, taste like candy, put it down.

Here is the problem. Since around 1900, the wrong type of fats began appearing in our diets and their presence has increased by about 20 times over what it used to be. This is because REFINED vegetable oils are much more affordable at the commercial level. We are unwittingly eating bad fats instead of good fats because someone at the food manufacturing plant decided it would save a few dollars. This includes health food. That means, Snackwell's cookies are NOT healthy, but Lemmon's Oil most certainly is...
